Privacy & Terms
Short version: Latyce keeps your game on your device and doesn't track you.
What Latyce stores
Everything Latyce remembers lives in your browser's localStorage, on your device only:
- Your found words and score for each day's puzzle
- Your lifetime stats and streaks
- Your theme preference (light / dark)
- Whether you've seen the how-to-play tip
None of this is sent to a server, and there are no accounts. Clearing your browser data clears all of it. There's no way for us to recover it, because we never had it.
What Latyce does not do
- No login, no email, no personal information collected
- No advertising or third-party tracking scripts
- No cookies set by the page
- No selling or sharing of data (there is none to sell)
Analytics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which gives us basic, anonymous traffic counts (visits per day, country, referrer). That needs no script on the page and sets no cookies. It tells us roughly how many people play, but it can't identify you.
Terms, briefly
- Latyce is free and just for fun, provided as-is.
- Word validity is based on a curated English word list and won't be perfect: some real words are missing, and a few obscure ones slip in.
- Please don't scrape upcoming puzzles or spoil the daily game for everyone else.
